Jennifer Younger

Jennifer Younger is Executive Director, Catholic Research Resources Alliance, and was the Edward H. Arnold Director of Hesburgh Libraries, University of Notre Dame, from 1997-2010. Prior to that, she was Assistant Director for Technical Services and Liaison for the Regional Campus Libraries, University Libraries, The Ohio State University, in Columbus. Dr. Younger was Vice President/President of OCLC Global Council from 2009-2011, Co-Chair of the OCLC Record Use Policy Council in 2009-2010, and Chair of the Review Board on Principles of Shared Data Creation and Stewardship in 2009.

Dr. Younger's distinguished record of service includes serving as Vice President, President and Past President for the Association for Library Collections and Technical Services (ALCTS); President and Board member, Academic Libraries of Indiana (ALI); Secretary and Board member, Center for Research Libraries; and Board member, Association for Research Libraries. In 2010, she was named Alumnae of the Year, University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Library and Information Studies. Dr. Younger has been a member of Beta Phi Mu, International Honor Society in Library Science, since 1991.

Dr. Younger holds a Ph.D., a master's in Library Science, and a bachelor's degree in History, all from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
