Join fellow developers, geeks and tech-enthusiasts and sign up for the UK's first WorldCat Mashathon and the fourth Mashed Libraries event, to be held in Liverpool, UK on May 13-14, 2010.
Sponsored by Liverpool John Moores University, the OCLC Developer Network and Ex Libris, the joint event will be held at the world famous Parr St Studio 2, Liverpool, UK.
Parr St Studio 2 in part is home to recording studios and has played host to the likes of Coldplay, Moby and Elbow. A venue that oozes style, wifi is everywhere and breakout sessions will be held either in the squishy-squashy room or boardroom.
Why attend the WorldCat Mashathon UK + Liver and Mash?
OCLC UK staff will kick off the session, and OCLC Developer Network manager Karen Coombs and OCLC Research engineer Bruce Washburn will present and be available for questions and breakout facilitation. Ideas and outcomes from the Mashathon, together with a participants list, will be shared during and after the event for others to download and build on.
OCLC Web Services provided for the Mashathon include the following:
