See the OCLC WorldShare Platform in action: 55 libraries in the ANZ regions are now on the WorldShare Platform, getting unprecedented value from library management services such as web-scale circulation and acquisitions, or use one of the stand-alone modules such as WorldShare Interlibrary Loan, WorldShare Collection Evaluation or WorldShare Metadata Collection Manager. Come and explore how your library can take steps to benefit from the deep integration of data and functionality in a multi-tenant cloud environment.

During the presentation OCLC staff will talk about the experiences of delivering WorldShare into the region and will give a live presentation of WorldShare and WorldCat Local. Staff will also give an update on other OCLC initiatives and future developments. OCLC staff presenting during the session include Chris Thewlis (Regional Manager, OCLC ANZ), Susie Thorpe (Senior Product Manager, OCLC ANZ) and Angus Cook (Sales Consultant, OCLC ANZ).

OCLC WorldShare Applications and Services offer a new approach to managing library workflows cooperatively, including integrated acquisitions, cataloguing, circulation, patron administration, and resource sharing and e-resource management. OCLC WorldShare services and applications eliminate traditional operational silos and deliver new efficiencies in library management, freeing libraries from the restrictions of local hardware and software to provide more time to focus on serving users and communities. Included with every WorldShare implementation is the discovery layer, WorldCat Local, a patron interface that empowers patrons from a single search to discover the broad range of resources including physical resources, eBooks, online services and digital objects that libraries now provide.
