Andy Bush

Andy Bush is responsible for leading OCLC’s U.S. Library Services Team and helps member libraries develop solutions to serve their users. Prior to joining OCLC, Andy led various sales organizations in the eContent and consulting industries at SilverPlatter Information, Books24x7 and Outsell Inc. He attended both SUNY Maritime College and Eastern Nazarene College and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration.

Andy has traveled widely, working closely with many types and sizes of libraries. His hands-on experience with libraries’ information system needs provides him with valuable insight into how to get things done “in the real world.” Andy speaks on a variety of subjects, including topics related to maximizing use of library resources, eContent, digital asset management, virtual reference, collection analysis and consortial borrowing.

Our public purpose is a statement of commitment to each other—that we will work together to improve access to the information held in libraries around the globe, and find ways to reduce costs for libraries through collaboration.
