OCLC Canada will hold a symposium and luncheon during the Canadian Library Association Annual Conference and Trade Show. The symposium and luncheon are free and open to all.

This year’s symposium keynote speaker will be Richard Wallis, Technology Evangelist, OCLC. He will discuss how Linked Data is used, what it could lead to—and whether or not it truly represents a radical change.

ILLiad software version 8.4 is scheduled for release in late May 2013. Use of a WSKey (Web services key) is required for access to ILLiad version 8.4 software as well as some related new resource sharing APIs for Article Exchange, the OCLC Policies Directory and Interlibrary Loan Fee Management (IFM). This is the first time a new version of ILLiad software has required use of a WSKey.
