OCLC Research Software Architect Jeff Young Honored as 2012 Kent State University SLIS Alumnus of the Year

 

Jeff Young was selected to receive this award for his significant accomplishments with using Linked Data to increase the presence and discoverability of library data and materials on the web. He was presented with the award at the Kent State University School of Library and Information Science Alumni and Friends Honors and Awards Program held at OCLC in Dublin, Ohio on 23 October 2012.

The School of Library and Information Science (SLIS) at Kent State University gives this award annually to a graduate who has made a significant contribution to the profession. Jeff earned his Master of Library Science degree from Kent State's School of Library and Information Science in 2002.
