Kurt De Belder, University Librarian at Leiden University, and Director of University of Leiden Libraries and of Leiden University Press, spoke at OCLC headquarters in Dublin, Ohio on 10 May 2013 as part of the OCLC Research Distinguished Seminar Series.

In this presentation, Kurt discusses the fundamental transformation of the academic (research/university) library and explores the necessary changes that need to be made for the library to remain an effective and relevant partner in research and teaching.
