Walk This Way video highlights report that details steps for gaining control of born-digital content

 

In this video, OCLC Research Diversity fellow Julianna Barrera-Gomez provides an overview of Walk This Way: Detailed Steps for Transferring Born-Digital Content from Media You Can Read In-house, a report she co-authored with Senior Program Officer Ricky Erway.

This report is the third in a series of demystifying born digital reports. It provides discrete steps for moving born digital content from physical media into a form that can be more easily managed—with objectives, links to available tools and software, references and resources for further research and paths to engagement with the digital archives community.
