OCLC Research Library Partnership Metadata Managers Focus Group
The Metadata Managers Focus Group (MMFG) is a community of Research Library Partnership (RLP) members who demonstrate leadership in metadata creation and management. The group provides participants with an opportunity to engage with peers, learn from others, and discuss issues of common concern. It also identifies important trends in metadata management that inform RLP programming and OCLC products and services.
What we do
- Members meet in quarterly round-robin sessions to share experiences and respond to current topics.
- Product insight sessions offer opportunities to meet with key OCLC Product leaders.
- MMFG members interested in taking a deeper dive may join working groups that produce best practices or explore new areas that shape the next-generation of metadata.
