Self-Directed Learners

If you are an experienced user of WorldCat Resource Sharing, and you like to get into new software and learn hands on, we encourage you to dive right into the system.  Your past experience will help you intuit your way around WorldShare ILL.

Self-directed learners can start by reviewing the WorldShare ILL documentation.

You can also use the tutorials listed below, either as a complete track to learn the system (we recommend you take the tutorials in the order listed), as a preview, or if you run into any questions. For those who jump right in to the hands-on use of the system, you may want to pay particular attention to the "exceptions" under borrowing and lending, as these are often low frequency activities where a refresher may be helpful.
