For technical reports, a report number that is not a Standard Technical Report Number (STRN). Use field 027 for standard report numbers formulated according to the STRN Standard, ANSI Z39.23-1983. Use field 088 for nonstandard report numbers. If the report number is used as numbering associated with a series statement, enter the number in the appropriate series fields (field 490, the 8xx fields), as well as in field 088. |
