Die Zusatzmodule

Für BIBLIOTHECAnext stehen eine Vielzahl unterschiedlicher Zusatzmodule zur Verfügung, die optional eingesetzt werden können. Diese Zusatzmodule erleichtern Ihnen die Arbeit in der Bibliothek oder stellen spezielle Funktionen bereit. Alle Zusatzmodule können beliebig kombiniert werden. Hier eine kurze Übersicht:

Lastschriftmodul

Jahresgebühren automatisch einziehen

Bisher konnten Ihre Benutzer die Jahresgebühr immer nur vor Ort bezahlen. Dadurch laufen Leserausweise häufig ab und/oder werden erst beim nächsten Bibliotheksbesuch verlängert. Es entsteht somit eine Lücke in der die Leser z.B. keine Selbstbedienungsfunktionen des Web-Angebots der Bibliothek nutzen können. Zudem generieren die Verlängerung des Ausweises und die Verbuchung der Benutzungsgebühr Aufwände an der Theke. Und die Gefahr, dass Benutzer wegen fehlender Gelegenheit gar nicht mehr verlängern und die Nutzerzahlen damit zurückgehen ist groß.

8 Gründe warum sich das Lastschrift-Modul für Sie lohnt

Standardisiertes Verfahren. Der Einzug erfolgt über die im Bankwesen übliche SEPA-Datei. BIBLIOTHECAplus unterstützt Sie automatisch bei der Einhaltung der Fristen und Vorgaben im SEPA-Lastschriftverfahren. Um das Lastschriftmodul für Sie sofort nutzbar zu machen, haben wir umfangreiche Absprachen und Tests (wie die Validierung unserer SEPA-Dateien) mit Banken vorgenommen.
Alle Dokumente sind enthalten. BIBLIOTHECAplus ermöglicht die komfortable Erzeugung aller notwendigen Dokumente, von der Einzugsermächtigung über die Benachrichtigung über den Lastschrifteinzug bis zur fertigen SEPA Datei.
Komfortable Aktivierung. Es ist keine weitere Installation notwendig. Die Eintragung der Lizenz schaltet das Modul zur sofortigen Nutzung frei.

So funktioniert`s in der Praxis

Das Lastschriftverfahren in BIBLIOTHECAplus beinhaltet die Hinterlegung der Kontodaten am Leserdatensatz. Dabei werden die hinterlegten Konditionen berücksichtigt. Die Einwilligung zum Lastschriftverfahren ist bequem aus BIBLIOTHECA heraus druckbar und kann automatisch mit den eingegebenen Daten befüllt werden.

Die Verlängerung der Ausweise erfolgt über sogenannte Lastschriftläufe. Die Leser werden zunächst über den bevorstehenden Einzug benachrichtigt. Die Benachrichtigung kann per Brief oder E-Mail erfolgen. In diesem Zuge werden die Ausweise bereits verlängert.

Nach der Benachrichtigung kann eine SEPA-Datei im XML-Format generiert werden. Diese kann direkt an die Hausbank oder das Rechnungsamt weiter geleitet werden.

Die Benutzungsgebühr und die zugehörige unbare Zahlung werden automatisch im Gebührenkonto des Lesers verbucht.

Die E-Medienschnittstelle ermöglicht Ihnen ein professionelles Angebot und eine reibungslose Ausleihe von E-Medien.

Die automatische Authentifizierung Ihrer Lesern für Anbieter wie beispielsweise divibib (Onleihe), Ciando, Munzinger, Freegal, Hotsplots, Brockhaus uvm. sowie Ezproxy wird damit ganz einfach.

Die E-Medienschnittstelle ist Voraussetzung für die Nutzung von E-Medien direkt in OPEN und Web-OPAC.

Schnittstelle ekz-Medienservices

Schnittstelle zu den ekz-Medienservices

Die Schnittstelle zu den ekz-Medienservices erleichtert die Geschäftsgänge in Bibliotheken bei der Online-Bestellung. Als einer der ersten Anbieter ermöglicht OCLC den direkten Datenaustausch und somit die medienbruchfreie Kommunikation zwischen BIBLIOTHECAplus und dem ekz-Online-Shop. „Medienbruchfrei“ bedeutet, dass alle Prozesse online und ausschließlich digital stattfinden - ohne Wechsel zwischen gedruckten und digitalen Informationen (z. B. Lauf- und Bestellzettel, E-Mails, Software, Rechnungen, Mahnung etc.).

Vorteile der Schnittstelle zu den ekz-Medienservices:

+ Transparenz über Bestellstatus durch direkten Datentransfer in BIBLIOTHECAplus

Die Bestellinformationen werden von den ekz-Medienservices nach Abschluss des Bestellvorganges zu BIBLIOTHECAplusübertragen.

Erfassung von Zusatzinformationen,
die bei den ekz-Medienservices erfasst werden wie z.B. die Bestellung für eine bestimmte Zweigstelle, etc. werden über die Schnittstelle ebenfalls direkt in die BIBLIOTHECAplus-Erwerbung übertragen.

Die Datenübertragung erfolgt sicher durch Verschlüsselung und sichere Protokolle.

Verbund-OPAC

Verbünde bilden - Synergien nutzen

Medienangebot deutlich vergrößern, Image verbessern und dabei kräftig Kosten sparen. Das erreichen Sie über den Zusammenschluss in Bibliotheksverbünden.

Jede Verbundlösung wird von OCLC individuell auf die jeweiligen technischen Gegebenheiten vor Ort und das gewünschte Verbund-Angebot angepasst. Ausführliche Beratungsgespräche gepaart mit Expertenwissen und langjähriger Erfahrung sorgen für innovative Konzepte. Dies haben zahlreiche Bibliotheken mit BIBLIOTHECA erfolgreich umgesetzt.

Hier einige Beispiele:

IMeNS
SchülerInnen und LehrerInnen im Lahn- Dill-Kreis (Hessen) können seit April 2005 ganz einfach die Bestände von 9 Schulen und 2 Medienzentren gleichzeitig durchsuchen. Dies ermöglicht das „Informations- und Mediennetzwerk der Medienzentren und Schulen“ (IMeNS). Im Endausbau können alle Mediotheken der 99 Schulen im Lahn-Dill-Kreis an diesem zukunftsweisenden Verbund teilnehmen.

Öffentliche Bibliotheken in Rheinland-Pfalz
114 Öffentliche, Spezial- und Schulbibliotheken in Rheinland-Pfalz präsentieren ihre Bestände über den gemeinsamen Bibliothekskatalog “Öffentliche Bibliotheken Rheinland-Pfalz”. Koordiniert wird der Verbund von den Staatlichen Büchereistellen in Neustadt und Koblenz.

Schulbibliotheken Frankfurt
SchülerInnen und LehrerInnen können über den Verbund-OPAC der SBA (Schulbibliothekarische Arbeitsstelle) in den Medienbeständen von 48 Schulen in Frankfurt/Main recherchieren.

Bibliotheken in Südtirol
Der Verbundkatalog "Bibliotheken Südtirols online" (kurz: BiSon) wurde mit dem BIBLIOTHECA.net-Verbund-OPAC realisiert. Südtiroler Bibliotheksbenutzer können die Bestände von über 20 Bibliotheken gleichzeitig durchsuchen und Selbstbedienungsfunktionen nutzen.

Deutschsprachige Gemeinschaft Belgien
MediaDG - so heißt der Online-Katalog der Öffentlichen Bibliotheken, Schul- und Fachmediotheken der Deutschsprachigen Gemeinschaft Belgiens. Die Leser können über Internet wahlweise im Katalog jeder einzelnen oder im Gesamtbestand aller angeschlossenen Bibliotheken recherchieren und Medien bestellen.

Region Südwestfalen
„Go Libri“ ist der Online-Bibliotheksverbund Südwestfalen. Die zentrale technische Betreuung des Betriebsservers und Pflege der Software übernimmt das Experten-Team der KDZ (Kommunale Daten-Zentrale Westfalen-Süd).

Kreis Mettmann
10 Stadtbibliotheken im Kreis Mettmann präsentieren ihren Gesamtbestand von über 500.000 Medien im Online-Katalog “BIBNET”.

Frankfurter Museumsbibliotheken
Im Verbund der Frankfurter Museumsbibliotheken haben sich 15 Frankfurter Museen zusammen geschlossen. Sie ermöglichen per Internet einen gemeinsamen Zugang zu den Katalogen aller beteiligten Bibliotheken.

Kreis Ostwestfalen-Lippe
Mit dem Bibliotheksverbund OWL bieten die Bibliotheken im Kreis Ostwestfalen-Lippe ihren Lesern ein Vielfaches an Medien, ohne dafür mehr Etat aufzuwenden. Die von BOND attraktiv gestaltete Startseite des Internetauftritts unterstützt die intuitive Bedienung des Web-Angebots der Bibliotheken.

Landesbehörden Nordrhein-Westfalen
Der Bibliotheksverbund der Landesbehörden NRW besteht aus 72 Bibliotheken (u. a. Bibliotheken der obersten Landesbehörden, der Behörden aus dem Justizbereich sowie aus dem Bereich Arbeitsschutz. Der Verbundpool enthält über 500.000 Medien und wächst ständig.

Signaturdruck

Komfortabler Druck von Signaturetiketten

Mit dem Signaturdruck-Modul können Sie Ihre Signaturetiketten selbst erstellen. Dazu erfassen Sie die Barcodenummern Ihrer Medien per Scanner oder von Hand und drucken dann die Liste der Signaturen aus.

Die Etikettenmaske füllt sich nach dem Eingeben einer Barcodenummer automatisch mit den Signaturen. Alternativ können Sie die Position des Etiketts frei festlegen. Die Signaturen können Sie bei Bedarf manuell nachbearbeiten. Die Schriftart, die Schriftgröße und sonstige Schriftattribute lassen sich nach Belieben verändern.

Für den Druck können Sie handelsübliche Standard-Blanko-Etiketten verwenden. Für spezielle Etikettenformate ist eine einmalige Anpassung notwendig, die wir gegen eine Aufwandspauschale gerne für Sie vornehmen.

Z39.50

Recherche und Datenübernahme von Z39.50-Anbietern

Mit dem Z39.50-Client können Sie in der Erwerbung und bei der Katalogisierung weltweit in den Daten von zahlreichen Bibliotheken und Verbünden sowie der ekz recherchieren und die Daten direkt in die Erfassungsmaske übernehmen.

Grundlage ist das Z39.50-Protokoll. Für die Datenübernahme werden neben MAB2 auch das im amerikanischen Raum verbreitete MARC-Format sowie Bath-Profile unterstützt.

Z-Server

Bereitstellung Ihrer Mediendaten über Z39.50

Der Z-Server von BIBLIOTHECA stellt die Titel- und Exemplardaten Ihrer Bibliothek für die Übernahme über das Internet zur Verfügung. Damit können andere Bibliotheken in Ihrem Datenbestand recherchieren und Katalogdaten übernehmen. Die Abfrage erfolgt über das Z39.50-Protokoll. Die Daten können in den Formaten MAB2, USMARC und UNIMARC abgerufen werden.

Voraussetzung für die Installation des Z-Servers ist ein Web-Server (Microsoft Internet Information Server). Die Daten für den Zugang wie z.B. die IP-Adresse oder den Port können Sie frei festlegen. Bei Bedarf können Sie mehrere Z-Server auf einem Rechner laufen lassen, die unterschiedliche Datenbanken anbieten.
Für den Zugriff auf den Z-Server ist ein Z39.50-Client erforderlich, z.B. der Z39.50-Client von OCLC, den Sie als Zusatzmodul für BIBLIOTHECAplus erwerben können.

Der Z-Server wird beispielsweise im Rahmen der Digitalen Bibliothek (DigiBib) des Hochschulbibliothekszentrums (HBZ) eingesetzt. Mit dem Z-Server können Bibliotheken ihre Mediendaten aktiv in das Informationsangebot der DigiBib einbringen.

Inventurmodul

Schnelle Übersicht über verstellte und abgängige Medien

Das Inventurmodul dient dem schnellen und einfachen Bestandsabgleich Ihrer Bibliothek.

Direkt am Regal lesen Sie mit Hilfe eines mobilen Barcodescanners die Strichcodes Ihrer Medien ein. Die Daten werden zunächst im Scanner gespeichert und nach dem Scannen aller Medien über ein Datenkabel an den PC übertragen.

Das Inventurmodul gleicht die gescannten Daten mit Ihrer BIBLIOTHECAplus-Datenbank ab und erstellt eine Aufstellung aller fehlenden Medien. Exemplare, die z.B. gerade ausgeliehen sind und sich somit physikalisch nicht in der Bibliothek befinden können, werden in der Liste der fehlenden Exemplare natürlich nicht aufgeführt.

Mit dem Inventurmodul können Sie den Bestandsabgleich auch nur in einem bestimmten Bereich der Bibliothek durchführen. Sie haben die Möglichkeit, nur den fehlenden Bestand z.B. einer bestimmten Zweigstelle oder eines bestimmten Standorts zu untersuchen.

Fahrbibliothek

Die Schnittstelle für den Bücherbus

Mit BIBLIOTHECAplus verwalten Sie einfach und bequem Ihre Fahrbibliothek. Ebenso wie in der Hauptbibliothek können Sie alle Verbuchungsaktionen mit der Software durchführen: Medien ausleihen, vorbestellen, verlängern, zurückgeben, im Medienbestand recherchieren, Leser erfassen, Gebühren erheben u.v.m. Spezielle OPAC-Plätze im Bus ermöglichen Ihren Lesern wahlweise im Gesamtbestand oder im Medien-Bestand der Fahrbibliothek selbständig zu recherchieren.

Zur Verwaltung Ihrer Fahrbibliothek mit Software von BIBLIOTHECA gibt es verschiedene Möglichkeiten:

Online-Anbindung mit moderner Technologie (z.B. UMTS oder GPRS)
Mit UMTS-Technologie (Universal Mobile Telecommunications System) wählt sich Ihre Fahrbibliothek per Mobilfunk in das Internet ein. Große Datenmengen werden dank dieser Technologie in Sekundenschnelle übertragen. Dadurch können Sie Medienbuchungen oder Änderungen der Leserdaten von der Fahrbibliothek aus direkt und mit äußerst kurzer Verarbeitungsdauer in der Datenbank der Zentral-Bibliothek verbuchen.

Falls UMTS nicht flächendeckend an allen Haltestellen der Fahrbibliothek zur Verfügung steht, kann auch die GPRS-Technologie (General Packet Radio Service) zur Online-Anbindung genutzt werden.

Mit BIBLIOTHECAplus und der modernen UMTS-Technologie arbeiten u.a. die Fahrbibliotheken der Stadtbücherei Heidelberg, Stadtbibliothek Darmstadt oder Stadtbücherei Gladbeck. Die Leiterin des Heidelberger Bücherbusses, Frau Dipl.-Bibl. Regine Mitternacht ist der Meinung: "Eine Online-Anbindung über UMTS ist allen Fahrbibliotheken wärmstens zu empfehlen. Schnelle Verarbeitungszeiten und der volle Umfang zu nutzender Funktionalität erhöhen den Service für die BenutzerInnen und verbessern die Arbeitsbedingungen des Busteams". Automatisierter Datenabgleich mit dem Fahrbibliothek-Modul
Bei dieser Variante arbeitet die Fahrbibliothek mit einer eigenen Datenbank. Diese wird nach jeder Tour über das Fahrbibliothek-Modul von BIBLIOTHECAplus automatisiert mit der Datenbank der Zentrale abgeglichen. Dabei werden alle Bewegungsdaten der Fahrbibliothek (Ausleihdaten, neue Leser, Gebührendaten) an die Zentrale übermittelt. Gleichzeitig übernimmt die Fahrbibliothek aus dem Zentralbestand die Exemplardaten neu erfasster Medien, die somit sofort im Bus entleihbar sind. In der Zentrale werden die Mahnläufe und sonstigen Verwaltungsarbeiten sowie die Katalogisierung durchgeführt.

SMS-Service

SMS-Service: Automatische Kontostandabfrage und Verlängerung per SMS

Mit dem SMS-Gateway können Ihre Leser per SMS ihr Benutzerkonto abfragen, Medien verlängern und sich über die von ihnen entliehenen Titel informieren.

Dazu sendet der Leser eine SMS mit seiner gewünschten Anforderung, seiner Ausweisnummer und seinem Passwort an eine bestimmte Telefonnummer. Die vom Leser gesendete SMS geht zunächst an einen Provider. Dort wird automatisch eine Nachricht generiert und an die Bibliothek geschickt. Das SMS-Gateway ruft diese Nachrichten in regelmäßigen Abständen automatisch ab und bearbeitet die Anfragen. Das Programm generiert automatisch eine Antwort und schickt diese an den Provider, der wiederum eine SMS auf das Handy des Lesers sendet.

Alle Aktionen des SMS-Gateways werden in der Datenbank protokolliert und können jederzeit nachvollzogen und statistisch ausgewertet werden. Spezielle Sicherheitseinstellungen im Programm verhindern die Folgen von SPAM-Angriffen.
