The OCLC Research Library Partnership invites institutional leaders from national and university libraries to join us for a pre-conference where we will share findings of recent OCLC research into research data management, persistent identifiers, and linked data. Participants will have the opportunity to share their challenges, strategic goals, and engagement with stakeholders within and beyond the library community.

Like last year in Edinburgh, this free meeting will bring together members and OCLC staff from across the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) regions to meet in person, share insights, learn from others, and discuss and plan community activities.
The OCLC Research Library Partnership invites institutional leaders from national and university libraries to join us for a pre-conference workshop where we will discuss the challenges for research libraries in this rapidly evolving ecosystem. During this pre-conference, we will discuss findings of recent OCLC research into research data management, persistent identifiers, and linked data. Participants will have the opportunity to share their challenges, strategic goals, and engagement with stakeholders within and beyond the library community.
This workshop is taking place on Monday 25 February 2019, the day before the EMEA Regional Council Meeting, at Room Manon at the Newhotel of Marseille.

Pro-action Café OCLC RLP program officers will lead a Pro-Action Café with attendees, facilitating a creative and action-oriented conversation about the numerous pressing challenges facing library leaders today. This activity offers a way to harness our collective intelligence, while simultaneously offering rich relationship building opportunities. Discussion topics will be proposed by participants. We expect participants will leave with a clearer understanding of the challenges discussed, and concrete actions to move them forward. |

The second annual WMS Community Day, EMEA, is taking place on Thursday 28 February 2019, the day after the EMEA Regional Council Meeting, at Room Manon at the Newhotel of Marseille.
Like last year in Edinburgh, this free meeting will bring together members and OCLC staff from across the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) regions to meet in person, share insights, learn from others, and discuss and plan community activities.
It is exclusively aimed at libraries using or implementing WMS. The programme will be in English and places are limited.
If you are interested in taking part in this meeting, then don’t forget to check the box on your EMEA Regional Council Meeting registration form. Or drop us an email if you are not planning to attend the EMEA Regional Council Meeting, but do want to register for the WMS Community Day only.
