A higher standard for library technology
Built by the world’s largest library community
The future is cooperative
Cooperation, innovation, and choice have been the heartbeat of WorldShare Management Services (WMS) since its inception. WMS changed the market. It changed the way libraries work. And it continues to be a catalyst for new solutions.
Did you know?
70 percent of 200+ new features and enhancements added to WMS last year came from community feedback.

Positive implementation and efficient integration when switching to WMS
Because of continuing problems with the library's previous, unwieldy ILS, staff at Albertus Magnus College decided to move to OCLC's WorldShare Management Services (WMS).
“With our previous provider, we struggled with communications, implementation, and training. And data extraction was miserable. With WMS, we love that it's all-in-one and works with our other OCLC services, like WorldCat Discovery and WorldShare ILL. The WMS solution offered all of the key elements needed in an ILS with a much more comprehensive and organized foundation than our previous system. [Our VP] was thrilled that our migration didn't require ongoing management discussions and obstacles, as had been the case with our previous ILS. Implementation was completed early, even during the pandemic, and went beautifully.”
