• Brian Lavoie, OCLC Senior Research Scientist, who will discuss his OCLC Research publication, “Library Collaboration as a Strategic Choice: Evaluating Options for Acquiring Capacity.” This work provides a framework for planning and evaluating cooperative efforts across libraries in order to develop new or expanded capabilities.
• Chela Weber, Senior Program Officer for the OCLC Research Library Partnership, who will walk through the recent “Sustaining Art Research Collections: Using Data to Explore Collaboration” report as an example of how data analysis can help shape successful strategic collaboration.
• Andy Breeding, OCLC Senior Product Manager for Delivery Services, who will introduce the new Choreo Insights analytics solution, showing how it can be used to help identify potential collaborative partners based on collections data, gaps, overlaps, and shared interests.
