Here are some suggestions for how you and your institution can make the most of your RLP membership:
- Get in touch: Do you have a challenge that could benefit from community input? Contact us to see if we can help facilitate a discussion with others in the RLP community. For example, RLP affiliates inspired facilitated discussions on creating accessible digital exhibits and the challenges of addressing bias in research metrics.
- Contribute in an RLP Leadership Roundtable: Share and learn in a roundtable discussion with other library leadership, exploring topics related to research support and archives and special collections.
- Participate in our webinar series: Share about a recent project or challenge through our Works in Progress webinar series. Is your idea not fully formed? Unsure how relevant your challenge is to others? Contact us anyway and we’ll help you decide.
- Join a learning group: Engage with peers at other institutions in standing learning groups like the Metadata Managers Focus Group.
- Explore leadership opportunities: Serve in a leadership capacity on a group that shapes strategic programmatic discussions, such as the SHARES Executive group.
- Get support from our team: Consult directly with RLP program officers who are available to share their expertise and offer guidance in our areas of programmatic focus.
